A table lamp 45 cm tall and 30 cm wide, made from reclaimed olive wood. The wood is cut across the trunk to show the pattern of its grain.
It has a natural beige linen shade, a black Bakelite lamp holder, a gold-tone stem and a jute textile cable.
The wood and its origin
We found this wood on a beach in Málaga, most likely carried there by the waves. It is reclaimed wood, not felled.
Crafted by hand
With this piece we knew we wanted to bring out the grain, so we cut across the trunk. It cured in the workshop for 6 months; because it is driftwood, the process is somewhat faster.
The finish is Danish oil. As it goes on, every line of the grain is revealed.
Certificate of authenticity
